Anderson Cooper is determined to put Bush's Illegal War in Iraq over the top. Right or "W"rong, do or die, this news team believes in war and death like no other. Fiction to benefit antiquated economies is their legacy:
The razel - dazzel effect.
A common and perferred strategy of the Bush White House is to 'encourage' descension at every turn and then release information to counter any all criticism DESIGNED UNINTELLIGENTLY by whomever is manipulating the propaganda of the time, so this statement by Cooper then tossed to Suzanne Malveaux, CNN White House Correspondent (And correspondent is more the truth, they sure aren't journalists with brains that 'think' for a living. The CNN bunch are stenographers to the President of the USA.) is STANDARD ISSUE for this news team.
Cooper :: The Bush administration has delayed the release of evidence which reportedly supports its accusations that Iran is backing militias in Iraq. Why?
Malveaux :: A national security official was telling me, the reason why is, there is a debate within the administration over what to do here. There is one camp that believes that there's a lot of pressure from Iraqis and Iranians, friends of the Bush administration inside Iraq, who say, we need more proof. They believe that the Bush administration perhaps is exaggerating its case. They want that proof out there. And there is the belief here that, if you release that super- secret evidence, declassify it, you will see evidence that links Iranians transferring weapons and hardware to these Iraqi militia.
Ah, there in lies 'the rub' and the paradox of being President Bush. On one hand a desperate Iraq in search of 'relief' from Iranian guns and munitions on their streets countered in anguishing debate to the 'super secret evidence.'
No. No. Not the super secret evidence again. No. No. We can't handle the super secret evidence in my ring decoder. No. No. That will mean all the Democrats will have to vote to invade Iran. WHAT WILL THAT DO TO THE ELECTIONS OF 2008? Oh, no here it comes, the evidence of all evidence that will drive a wedge to the debate of removing the troops from Iraq and not supporting 'THE SCURGE.' Oh, sorry, 'The Surge.'
The NSC is concerned, however, that, if you do that, there's going to be major blowback from Washington, that there are going to be more accusations of warmongering.
JOKING.
Nothing like setting up the defense of the super secret evidence LONG before there is the release of the super secret evidence so the Bush White House can say, see I told you there would be a backlash of warmongering.
Give me a break !
Ever hear of dipolmacy? Huh? It's in the dictionary, look it up !
MALVEAUX: Well, you know, members of Congress are going to get this. It is called "The Prospects for Iraq's Stability: A Challenging Road Ahead." They will get it tomorrow afternoon, as well as in the morning.
Let's not belabor the point. This is hog wash and nothing short of it and STILL another attempt by the Bush Executive Branch and it's pandering Neocon press to 'try again' to rebuild the Culture of Fear.
'Chaos' Reigns in Iraq, Speaker Pelosi Says (click on)
Morning Edition, January 31, 2007
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has just returned from a trip to Iraq and Afghanistan. She sat down with NPR's Renee Montagne, who asked her for one word to describe the situation in Iraq.
"Chaotic," Pelosi said. "What is happening in Iraq is chaos." She went on to say that after nearly four years in Iraq, "We just have to end it."
While there, she met with various Iraqi and American officials, including the Prime Minister of Iraq, Nouri al-Maliki. She said that in all of her conversations, she was disappointed that there didn't seem to be a political strategy in Iraq to go along with the military strategy. She said that Maliki told her that the increased number of U.S. troops in Baghdad had to be successful in the next four to six months in securing the Iraqi capital.
"Everyone that we spoke to said that this escalation that the president is engaged in is the one last chance," she said, adding, "Many did not believe it would be successful."
Pelosi also criticized the competence of Iraqi troops. She said that she did not believe the training effort had been serious, as the troops are still not ready. But, she added, after all that American troops have accomplished in Iraq — overthrowing Saddam, providing security for elections and a constitution and a new government — it is now an Iraqi responsibility to protect Iraqis.
"Whatever the adequacy of their troops," she said, "it's their responsibility now to get the job done. And the longer we stay the more dangerous the situation, the more deaths to Americans, and the less stable the country."
The speaker did, however, say that more troops are needed in Afghanistan, where she also visited. She said the war on terrorism is in Afghanistan and that the distraction of Iraq led to a power vacuum that the Taliban have used to make a comeback.
"The NATO commander there told us that this could be lost," she said. "Now I did not realize that the situation was that dire in Afghanistan."

Turner Broadcasting accepts blame, promises restitution (click on)
By Michael Levenson and Raja Mishra, Globe Staff February 2, 2007
Turner Broadcasting System yesterday accepted full responsibility for the guerrilla marketing campaign that caused a scare in Boston.
Mayor Thomas M. Menino said that the company had agreed to pay the cost of the massive effort to defuse what authorities had believed was a potential bomb plot. Those costs are expected to top $500,000 in Boston and approach another $500,000 for the MBTA, Cambridge, and Somerville.
"We have no intention of shirking the responsibility onto any other company," said Shirley Powell, a spokeswoman for Turner Broadcasting. "We are taking full responsibility for this."
The statement was issued as friends of a local artist involved in the guerrilla advertising campaign said he was told by a New York marketing executive five hours into the scare not to tell anyone.
According to an e-mail one friend provided to the Globe, the executive at Interference Inc. told the artist, whom the agency had hired to install the small, battery-powered light screens in Boston, to remain silent, even as dozens of police officers collected the devices and shut down highways, subway lines, and part of the Charles River.
THE RESTITUTION should put them out of business. Do us all that favor, Boston !
